Job Description
The Senior Technical Sales Agreements/Contract Consultant is a key role within FTI Consulting’s Technology segment, responsible for providing support on unique enterprise level software and services solutions for various customers. This role requires a strong understanding of technical and privacy standards, as well as the ability to advise on compliance across all aspects of global privacy law and regulation. The Senior Technical Sales Consultant will work closely with the sales, technical, and legal teams to ensure that all pre-sales documentation is accurate and compliant, while also identifying and developing innovative solutions for customer requirements. This is a highly visible role within the organization, requiring the ability to operate independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on technical and privacy standards to sales, technical, and legal teams
• Advise on compliance across all aspects of global privacy law and regulation
• Review and redline pre-sales documentation, including MSA, LOE, NDA, and DPA’s
• Identify and develop innovative solutions for customer requirements
• Collect business and technical information from clients and map to FTI solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and compliant pre-sales documentation

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate
• 5 years of post-graduate professional experience in contract/agreement review and creation, consulting, or pre-sales
• Strong understanding of technical and privacy standards
• Knowledge of software and technology in the legal IT sector, ideally in e-discovery
• Membership in at least one US state bar preferred
• Experience in privacy law preferred
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
